Through every mudra, I speak; through every step, I pray. Bharatanatyam is not just my art, it’s my voice, my devotion, and my way of being.” – Sharunitha Ranjith.
I am Sharu, a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer devoted to preserving and sharing the depth of this sacred classical art form. My journey with dance began as a child enchanted by rhythm and expression, and over the years, it has become my language of devotion, discipline, and storytelling.
Rooted in tradition and inspired by the divine grace of Lord Krishna, my dance reflects both technical rigor and emotional depth. Through NrityaBySharu, I aim to preserve and reflect the rhythm of my inspirations through movement, devotion, and the expressive language of Bharatanatyam.
With love, grace, and timeless tradition, I invite you to experience the transformative power of nritya.
“Initiated into the sacred art of Bharatanatyam at the tender age of 5, Sharunitha underwent years of gurukulam-style training, cultivating discipline, devotion, and grace.
She attained her Arangetram in the illustrious Kalakshetra presentation of Krishnamachari under the able guidance of her esteemed guru, Smt. Deluchini Tishain, embodying the rich heritage and spiritual essence of this divine art.”
